Terms of Service

Amberquest ("Company"/"we"/"us") owns and operates the game and website at amberquest.com, plus any related services (together called the "Services"). Read these terms carefully. By using the Services, you're accepting them. If you don't accept them, don't use the Services or any of its content. These terms can change, and if you keep using the Services after an update, you're accepting the new version. Any new features will follow these terms unless we say otherwise. Check back here once in a while to see what's changed.

The Services run on community, fairness, and learning. Follow the rules and engage honestly. User Accounts. You get one account per platform or device, though we'd suggest keeping just one across everything. If you want multiple accounts on different devices, they can't interact with each other at all. If we find they have, we can ban, reset, or penalize one or more of them. Virtual Goods Transfers & Account Sales. Anything from the game (virtual currency, virtual goods) can't be sold, traded, or turned into real money. Trying to do this breaks these terms and can get your account banned for life plus legal trouble. All virtual goods and currency sales are permanent. You can't exchange them for real money. The Company can manage, change, or delete virtual currency and goods however it wants, and it's not responsible to you for doing so. You're liable for everything charged to your account, whether you did it or someone else. Virtual goods and currency disappear if your account gets terminated or suspended. General Conduct & Prohibited Acts. Some things just aren't allowed. Don't: Use the Games if you're under thirteen. Pick an account name that disrespects other users. Use bots, auto-clickers, hacks, exploits, or any other prohibited conduct. Accuse other players of cheating in-game. If you actually think someone's breaking the rules and have real evidence, contact us through our form instead. Upload, post, email, or otherwise share material that's unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, invasive, hateful, racially objectionable, encourages crime, causes legal liability, breaks any law, or is otherwise objectionable. Share anything that infringes someone else's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights. Share anything you don't have the right to share. Post lies, misrepresentations, or false impressions (like pretending to be another user or staff member, or anything that could harm minors). Mess with the Services, their security features, connected servers or networks, or break any rules or policies. Don't probe, scan, test vulnerabilities, or bypass security. Break any local, state, national, or international law. Resell the Services, access to them, or their content. Do anything else these Terms prohibit. Action by Company. Breaking these rules can get your post deleted and your account limited, blocked, suspended, or terminated depending on how bad it is, or we might take other steps we think are right. Availability. The Company can change, pause, or stop the Services anytime for any reason with no warning. Maintenance or equipment problems might make things unavailable. We can add or update information without notice. The Company can change and update the Games whenever it wants.

We protect intellectual property. This covers ownership and technology used through the Services. Copyright and Trademark Information. The Services and everything in them belong to the Company and its partners. Copyright law, trademark law, and other IP laws protect them from copying and spreading. All Company product names and logos are Company trademarks. Other company and product names belong to their owners. Nothing here gives you a license or right to use the Services or materials except with written permission from the Company. Feedback & Suggestions. If you give us feedback, suggestions, or comments, we can use them in the Services or other products. That means: (a) we don't have to keep it confidential, (b) it's not your secret or anyone else's, and you can share it with us, (c) we can use, copy, share, license, and sell the feedback however we want, and (d) you won't get paid for it. Content. All information, messages, and materials posted or sent to the Services are the poster's responsibility. The Company doesn't control this content and doesn't guarantee it's accurate, complete, or good quality. By using the Services, you might see offensive or objectionable material. Partner Terms of Service. The Company follows the terms of service from Steam, Epic Games, and other platform partners. You've read and agreed to follow their terms too. Don't break them or you might get banned.

The Company limits its liability so it can offer the Services. Release. The Company doesn't supervise interactions between members or control payment processors. It can't verify who users really are or their age. It barely controls the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of the Services. So you take all the risk and agree to release the Company (and its officers, directors, shareholders, agents, employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, and partners) from any claims, demands, or damages from your use of the Services or third-party dealings. You also give up any rights that laws might give you to limit this release. DISCLAIMER. The Services are provided as-is. The Company doesn't promise that the information or materials are correct, accurate, reliable, or complete. It doesn't promise functions will work without interruption or errors, that problems will be fixed, or that the servers are virus-free. The Company disclaims all warranties, whether stated, implied, or by law, including any warranties about selling or fitness for a purpose. If you download or get anything from the Services, that's on you. You're responsible for any damage to your computer, lost data, or other losses from downloading or using anything. The Company doesn't warrant, endorse, guarantee, or take responsibility for any content, products, services advertised by third parties, or services linked from the Services or shown in ads. Amberquest isn't part of any deal you make with third parties. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. To the fullest extent allowed, the Company isn't responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages. This covers damages from your use or inability to use the Services, the cost of replacement goods or services, errors in materials, property damage from using the Services, bugs, viruses, or any loss from using the Services. These limits apply even if the Company knew damages were possible. They apply to the fullest extent the law allows. INDEMNIFICATION. You'll defend and hold harmless the Company, its affiliates, officers, agents, platform partners, and employees from all claims, actions, demands, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including attorney fees) from anyone because of materials you submitted or posted, your violation of these terms, or your violation of anyone else's rights (including IP rights, publicity rights, or privacy rights).

Other legal stuff you should know about the Services. Links to Third-Party Services. The Services might link to other sites the Company doesn't own or control. The Company isn't responsible for their content. Those sites have their own terms, and you have to follow them. Termination. The Company can shut off your access immediately without warning. Reasons include breaking these terms, payment issues, law enforcement requests, your request, major changes to the Services, security or legal problems, or if you're involved in fraud or illegal activity. When your access ends, we might remove your uploaded materials. Termination is the Company's choice alone, and it's not liable to you for doing it. If your account is terminated, you don't get a refund and you lose access to everything. Security. Internet communication isn't secure. The Company doesn't promise anything is secure or that third parties won't intercept information. Updates. The Company can modify, pause, or stop the Services anytime with or without notice. You accept that the Company won't be liable for any of this. Entire Agreement. These Terms plus our Privacy Policy and Rules make up the whole deal.
